The Hancock County School District mourns the loss of former employee and board member, Mrs. Ruby Clayton.
Mrs. Clayton taught elementary education and later special education until she retired, and she served for many years as a Hancock County Board of Education Member.
Mrs. Clayton had an astounding impact on the students and staff of the district. We greatly appreciate her years of hard work, dedication, and compassion. The District extends our most heartfelt sympathies and prayers to the family during this difficult time.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Macedonia Baptist Church at 12:00PM. Dawson’s Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, and services will be live streamed on the Dawson’s Mortuary Facebook page.
