4-H

Project Achievement is the cornerstone program of Georgia 4-H. It is an event where youth create an individual presentation on a topic of the student’s choice, with over 50+ project categories that include science, animals, crafts, paleontology, food, performing arts, and many more! We believe it is the very best program we offer in 4-H, as youth learn self-confidence, critical thinking, research, public speaking, and a myriad of other skills. Project Achievement is the

largest and most exciting, challenging, and rewarding program offered by Georgia 4-H. 4-Her’s choose a project area of interest, research a topic, and then write and present an oral presentation to others. This process is all about hands-on learning, self-confidence, and sharing knowledge. On February 17th, over 1,110 4-Hers attended Project Achievement at Rock Eagle from 23 counties. Hancock County had 24 4-H competitors, seven 4-H certified teen leaders, five parents, and one 4-H Agent attend.

Marvin E. Lewis Sr Elementary had 13 competitors and eight ribbon winners.
